What begins as an investigation into the cause of a series of unusual and unexplained events turns into a battle to save the Earth from elemental destruction. A mysterious, powerful, and persistent evil force seeks the masters of the elements that control and balance each element from an Earth entirely of that element. Earth's only hope is a powerful, spell-casting alien who has the dream of making three ordinary humans become like him. What hideous act does the evil force have planned?

Immerse yourself into a deep, twisting plot that feels like you're playing a role playing game instead of reading. The unique script-like format reads like a classic role playing game. The in-depth, extreme character statistics and numbers popping out of objects further immerse you into the play.

The Legend of the 10 Elemental Masters eBook Nick Smith

This was probably the most zany, imaginative book I've ever read. It is quite technical though, with a large portion of the text being exact measurements of distance, time, and other stats like a JRPG. I think it could have done with more expressive descriptions and dialogue and less mathematical analysis of exact millimeters and seconds things took, which got tiring to read. Also the events with the masters became redundant and predictable. It also kills a lot of it's own suspense by Knuckles being pretty much all powerful and not in any danger. Despite there being many many battles, only one or two people ever take even a single point of damage. Or when arriving to the final castle, "Speed" (who I'm pretty sure is basically sonic to go along with Knuckles) says he just went through it 15 times and knows where the enemy and all his traps are. What's the fun in that? It's like playing a video game with debug on and reading the ending beforehand and expecting to be interested in whats coming next. All in all though if you like quirky, weird books you've got to read this.

The Legend of the 10 Elemental Masters eBook Nick Smith Reviews

Whether you're a die hard Ulillillia fan, avante-garde aficionado, or fan of outsider fantasy/science fiction, this book has something for the fringe sensibilities in us all. There is absolutely no book like this in the entire world.
This book changed my life and is the most interesting piece of writing I own, True literary genius.
Since Tolkien, Fantasy has rarely been revolutionary, instead becoming more of an evolution and reinterpretation of Tolkien's original work. Well, I can honestly say Nick Smith's book is nothing less than revolutionary. No Fantasy book series is more epic in scope than The Legend of the Ten Elemental Masters.

His saga combines both science fiction and epic fantasy into a delightful mix. Brilliant prose, epic story lines, gritty realism, and a sorely needed heroic icon for our time. Smith combines the best of George R. Martin with the epic scope of the Assimov. One word when reading it epiphany. A refreshing change from the usual fantasy clones that pop up like weeds these days. Keep your eyes out for this rising literary star and his next project, Platform Masters.
The book reads as if it were a technical manual, and the characters and their actions are described with extreme detail, as is the style of Nick Smith's descriptory writing. It actually reads much like if you were reading an indian vedic text, or journey to the west, it paints a very precise picture. Definitely worth it for someone looking for an unorthodox contribution to independent literature.
It's like the outside looking in.
The Legend of the 10 Elemental Master is like -absolutely nothing- you have ever read before and that is an incredible accomplishment.
This book is beautiful and perfect. A rare glimpse into a mind beyond this reality. Uli's magnum opus continues to challenge our realities after all these years.
